In 2020&#8211;21 UEFA Nations League he was used as one of two false 9 strikers in 4-1-2-1-2 formation, a formation which does not support wingers.<BR><BR>He made his debut for Croatia&#39;s senior squad on 15 November 2018 in a 3&#8211;2 Nations League victory over Spain.
