Polish international striker with 16 caps when he was signed on loan from Troyes just before the close of the transfer window in January 2007.<\/P>
George Burley tried to sign him when he was manager of Hearts but Saganowski went to Portuguese club Guimaraes instead, scoring 12 league goals in 31 appearances for them as well as a header against Bolton in the UEFA Cup.<\/P>
He just missed out on a place in Poland's 2006 World Cup squad and moved to Troyes for £1m. But a change of manager saw him fall out of favour and lose his place in the national squad.<\/P>
