Presnel Kimpembe (born 13 August 1995) is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team. He was part of the France squad that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Kimpembe is a ball playing defender with the ability to bring the ball out into midfield and give the short pass to his wingers or the central midfielders to start off attacks. He can also start attacks from the deeper areas of the pitch by being able to pick out his teammates with pinpoint accuracy. In possession of the ball, he is quite composed in tight situations, never panicking, being able to pick out passes between the lines of the opposition. He also has good marking ability being able to get close to attackers and limiting them with very little space to run into or to create chances for their teammates.

Kimpembe made his professional debut on 17 October 2014 in the Ligue 1 against RC Lens, replacing Thiago Motta after 76 minutes in a 1–3 away win. He made his Champions League debut on 14 February 2017, keeping a clean sheet in a 4-0 win against Barcelona. Kimpembe got his first call up to the senior France side after Eliaquim Mangala withdrew through injury for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Bulgaria and Netherlands in October 2016. Kimpembe finally made his first team debut on 27 March 2018, a year and a half after his first call-up, in a friendly against Russia.<\/P>","60DC9D976694DF52":"1","99B9FE00554E753D0BC6E1E16DA9F791":"Paris Saint Germain B","BDC97245F9A52F8B":"517","FAF88D97B63B269A":"183cm","8025E7E497D77CF6":"Paris Saint-Germain","D41F91B0720932DCFCEBDA572EB68D71":"1995-8-13","e_index":9};
