Drewe Broughton joined Boston United on an initial month’s loan in October 2006 and was promptly red-carded on his debut against Wycombe Wanderers, for two harsh yellow cards.

Broughton moved to Lincolnshire after starting the season with Chester City, following an impressive campaign with Rushden and Diamonds in 2005-2006 where he almost single-handedly saved the Northamptonshire-based club from relegation.

Broughton began his career as a trainee with Norwich City in 1996 before moving on to join the likes of Brentford, Peterborough United, Kidderminster Harriers and Southend United, plus enjoying loan spells with Wigan Athletic, Nuneaton Borough, Dagenham and Redbridge, Stevenage Borough and Wycombe. <\/P>
