The reserve goalkeeper to Edwin van der Sar in Manchester United FC's Premier League/UEFA Champions League double-winning side, Tomasz Kuszczak will probably also have a back-up role at UEFA EURO 2008. The 26-year-old won his sixth international cap in the first of Poland's three pre-tournament friendlies against F.Y.R. Macedonia.

Left Poland for Germany in his teens, but despite three seasons at Hertha BSC Berlin he did not play in the Bundesliga.
