Profile:

Fabián Ariel Orellana Valenzuela is a Chilean footballer who plays for Celta de Vigo on loan from Granada CF in Spain, as a forward.

Orellana began his career in Colo-Colo, and moved in 2000 to Audax Italiano. He made his Primera División debuts at only 18, and scored 12 league goals in 38 games in the 2007 season as his club finished third in the Apertura, won its Clausura group and reached the semifinals in the playoffs.

Orellana signed on 30 June 2009 with Udinese Calcio in Italy, being immediately loaned to Xerez CD, in the Spanish Segunda División. In the following season, he continued in that country and category, joining in the same predicament Granada CF, and being a solid contributor as the Andalusians returned to La Liga after a 35-year absence, netting seven goals - plus one in the playoffs - in 2,673 minutes of play (he was also sent off three times).

In the summer of 2011, Orellana became property of Granada. In September, he was loaned to another Spanish second level outftit, Celta de Vigo.
