The 18-year-old forward has been a revelation for Boro after making his first team bow at the tender age of just 16. He has made 41 first team appearances for the McCain Stadium side, netting nine goals, in all competitions.

Michael impressed during a trial spell with the Reds during the 2005/2006 season and has put pen-to-paper on a two year contract which will keep him at Oakwell until the summer of 2008
