It is, after all, in the home of this year’s FIFA World Cup™ that he has honed his talents, even appearing twice for Germany at under-18 level before finally nailing his Togolese colours to the mast. A physically imposing player– he stands at 1.79 metres and weighs in at 76 kgs - started his career with SSV Osbergnesadt before joining Bayer Leverkusen, where he has become an indispensable member of the club’s youth team. A player of tremendous temperament and vision, Toure possesses fantastic passing ability from the heart of the defence, and possesses that rare and precious commodity: genuine versatility. He can also play as a left back, where he occasionally features for Bayer Leverkusen.
