Jeremy Brockie comes to Sydney FC after gaining a reputation as one of the Young Guns of the inaugural Hyundai A-League season. Playing for the down and out New Zealand Knights, he scored four goals in 12 appearances in a team that managed just 15 goals all season. He made his debut against Sydney FC off the bench in a round nine encounter at Aussie Stadium and scored the equaliser against his new club in a disappointing (for Sydney FC that is) 2-2 draw in New Zealand in January. Brockie plays as an attacking midfielder or striker who gets forward and scores goals and he represented New Zealand at U20 level before making his full international debut earlier this year.
