Andre Venceslau Valentim Macanga is a 27-year-old midfielder who plies his trade in Kuwait. He played for five different clubs in Portugal before he was noticed by Turkish side Gaziantepspor, joining them in 2004.

He is a regular choice in the Angola national team and played in all but one of their 2006 FIFA World Cup™ qualifiers. A decent passer, who is strong in one-on-one situations, Andre is best utilised in a defensive midfield role, breaking up the opposition’s advances.
