Central Coast Mariners coach Lawrie McKinna describes Adam Kwasnik as one of the best finishers in Australia and on the occasions he has been allowed to show it, he has shown why. Still at a very early stage in his career, Kwasnik possesses the qualities of a potential match winner and will be looking to nail down a regular starting spot with the Mariners. Picked up by the Parramatta Power in 2001/02, Kwasnik scored three times in his ten NSL appearances, the majority of them as a substitute. Kwasnik’s move to the Northern Spirit the following season was a success, with an Australian Under 20 call up riding on the coat tails of his five goals in 27 appearances. In his second year at Spirit, Kwasnik netted four times from eight starts and 14 substitute appearances. Before joining the Mariners, Kwasnik had been in hot form for NSW Premier League side Blacktown City, who excelled in light of the diminutive striker’s phenomenal goal scoring form that returned 15 goals in as many games.
