Nicolas Pepe is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Premier League club Arsenal and the Ivory Coast national team.
Pepe started his career at French side Poitiers in the Championnat de France Amateur 2. He signed for Angers in 2013 and spent a season on loan at Orleans during the 2015-16 season before establishing himself as one of the best wingers in Ligue 1 with Lille, who he signed for in 2017. His performances during the 2018-19 season, where he was named to the UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Year, led to him being linked with several top European clubs. On 1 August 2019, Pepe joined Arsenal in a club-record fee of £72 million.
