Shani Tarashaj is a Swiss footballer of Kosovar-Albanian origin who currently plays as a striker for English club Everton.

On 7 January 2016, Tarashaj joined Everton on four-and-a-half year deal. He was loaned back to Grasshopper, until the end of the season so that he could complete his national service.

Albania's coach Gianni de Biasi declared to the media in August 2015 that Tarashaj will be an important player for Albania in the future and that he has him in his plans. On the 25th March 2016 Tarashaj made his debut for Switzerland. He was selected for the 23 men Switzerland national team squad in UEFA Euro 2016.
