Gary has been a previous Supporters Player of the Year for the Drogs and was also called into the Ireland under 21 squad last year by Don Givens. He was signed from St. Francis but also had a spell with Shelbourne where he failed to break into the first team. With the signing of Tony O' Dowd during preseason there has been great competition for the number one jersey which has made Gary a better keeper which is evident in him keeping 5 consecutive clean sheets this season.
