Marwan Mohsen Fahmi Tharwat is an Egyptian footballer currently playing as a striker with Egyptian Premier League team Al Ahly, as well as the Egypt national football team.

He made his debut with Egypt on 3 September 2011 against Sierra Leone in an 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier where he scored his first international goal, under the coaching of Hany Ramzy.

In May 2018 he was named in Egypt’s preliminary squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
