An adventurous right-back or right-sided midfielder with a good turn of pace, Sabrı Sarıoğlu is a relative newcomer to the Turkish national team set-up. Uncapped before the UEFA EURO 2008 qualifying campaign, the 23-year-old from Galatasaray AS has his sights set on a memorable first major finals.

A Galatasaray youth graduate, he was given his first-team club debut by Fatih Terim.
