Profile
New to international football this year, 24-year-old Fredrik Stoor made good progress in 2007 at Norwegian club Rosenborg BK and is a contender to fill the right-back berth for Sweden at UEFA EURO 2008, having assumed that role in the two spring warm-up internationals against Turkey and Brazil.
Born in Stockholm, joined local side Hammarby at age of 12; worked his way through junior ranks, making first Allsvenskan appearance in 2003.
Made European club debut in 2004 against Villarreal CF in first round of UEFA Cup (lost 2-1 at home).
Helped Hammarby to fourth and third-place finishes in Allsvenskan before departure to Rosenborg, where joined forces with fellow Swede Mikael Dorsin.
Four appearances in 2007/08 UEFA Champions League; won 2-0 away to Valencia CF in first start.
Debut for Sweden against Costa Rica in San Jose on 13 January 2008; played full 90 minutes against Brazil at the Arsenal Stadium, London in March, winning third cap.
