Versatile defender Martin made the most appearances for Arsenal's reserves last season.

The tall centre back, who played in every position across the back four last season, registered 22 appearances for the second string in a successful campaign.

Martin has featured regularly at international level too, stepping up to Switzerland's Under-19s.

Formerly of FC Zurich, the defender has improved steadily under the stewardship of both Steve Bould and Neil Banfield and has also trained with the first team on numerous occasions.
