Roy Eric Carroll is a Northern Irish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for NIFL Premiership side Linfield. He is best known for his spells at Wigan Athletic, Manchester United (where he won a Premier League winners medal and the 2004 FA Cup) and Olympiacos (where he won the Greek Superleague and the 2012 Greek Cup). He has also represented Northern Ireland over 35 times at full international level, gaining his first cap in 1997, aged 19.<\/P>

Carroll has also had a one-game managerial career, leading Barnet to a 2–1 victory in the 2011 Herts Senior Cup final against Stevenage. Therefore, Carroll holds the unusual honour of having won a trophy in his only game as a manager.<\/P>","3F6EEC72E60D52B53E2E6377341938DB":"3","7F6018B84729B122B8EE7594158DA382":"Notts County,Olympiakos Piraeus,OFI Crete,Odense BK,Derby County,West Ham United,Glasgow Rangers,Manchester United,Hull City,Wigan Athletic","F52748F924D1E675":"80kg","90579B4DEA63C3E4":"Roy Carroll","147403B66C8CB5C7":"1054","2F200EF80307E2A90BE724565D2038D0":"2016-6-1","816C8DE73A2D153866B49ADDE8EB04C4":"Northern Ireland","4EB8C1CDD4A86AD4B213AF7FAE87E4FE":"Notts County","75B83B44A2FCDD1B4FF631FCD2E3CC16":"1","e_index":2};
