Though not yet a household name, promising young Cameroon international Eyong Enoh will be determined to change all that come the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. A gifted defensive midfielder, the youngster learned his trade in his homeland before deciding to try his luck on European soil in summer 2004.<\/P>
Trials in France, England, Denmark, Sweden and Israel ensued, with Enoh coming close to signing for English outfit Portsmouth only to be denied a work permit. Eventually ending up at Turkish Cypriot club Magusa Turk Gucu SK, he was quickly handed an escape route by South Africa’s Ajax Cape Town, a satellite team of the Dutch and European giants.<\/P>
Two excellent campaigns followed, including a player of the season award in 2008, which earned him a switch to Amsterdam that same year.
