His first-team opportunities were limited in Rotterdam, however, and he joined Bayer Leverkusen on a six-month loan, which proved unfruitful, before heading to Vitesse on a permanent deal in 2006.<BR><BR>The Serbian rediscovered his rhythm in Arnhem, firing home 19 goals in 32 games in his loan season at the club. That prolificacy earned him a &#8364;6.6m switch to PSV.<BR><BR>The attacker spent three campaigns at the Philips Stadion, helping the Eindhoven giants to Eredivisie glory in 2008. In March of this year, an unexpected &#8364;5m transfer took Lazovic to Russian team Zenit, who handed him the No8 shirt.<BR><BR>The Kragujevac native made his international debut for Yugoslavia in a 1-0 loss away to Brazil in 2002, and netted four goals as Serbia failed to qualify for UEFA EURO 2008. <BR><BR>Lazovic started one of his nation&#8217;s preliminaries for South Africa 2010 and made a further three substitute appearances.
