After starring in the Estudiantes side that won the league title and then the Copa Libertadores last year, Andujar replaced Juan Pablo Carrizo between the posts in the wake of Argentina’s calamitous 6-1 defeat to Bolivia in La Paz. He would stay in the post for only three games, however, eventually giving way to Sergio Romero following the 3-1 loss to Brazil in Rosario.

During El Pincha’s run to the 2009 Copa Libertadores title, Adujar set a tournament record by going 800 minutes without conceding a goal, though their aggregate win against Cruzeiro of Brazil in the final would prove to be his last appearances for the La Plata club.

An unfussy keeper with a good positional sense and fine reflexes, the 26-year-old is now with Serie A outfit Catania in Italy where he also spent a largely forgettable spell with fellow Sicilians Palermo in 2005\/06. Having started out in the junior ranks at Huracan, Andujar looks to be a good bet to secure a place at South Africa 2010 as first understudy to Romero.","EABD711929A60B526AB9CD802EC5F0A7":"21","BFA4903D06441BD5032C18CFE9B50683":"","60DC9D976694DF52":"1","e_index":9};
