Sherif Ekramy is an Egyptian footballer and son of Ekramy. He currently plays as a goalkeeper for Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team.
He has previously played for Feyenoord, Ankaragücü and most recently, El Gouna FC, with whom he helped win promotion to the top flight for the 2009–10 season. And he also helped Al Ahly club to lose 4 african champions league being the man of the match for the opposing team.
Ekramy participated in two successive World Youth cups, the 2001 in Argentina, where he was part of the bronze-medal team, and the 2003 installment in the United Arab Emirates. In the January transfer window season 09\/10 Sherif made a move to Al Ahly the club he played for as a youngster and the club his father, Ekramy played for following his father's footsteps and hoping to become a legend like his father. After a series of disappointing performances some Ahly fans were questioning whether he suited Al Ahly, but he proved them wrong as he played a string of good games insuring that he deserved his place as the starting goalkeeper.
