He then went on to lift the K-League trophy with the Steelers the following season, having played in 16 games. After his move to Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma in 2008, Jung finally established himself as the No1 and conceded just 29 goals in 34 games in his first season with the Pegasus. Last season saw him concede 41 goals in 36 matches.<BR><BR>Despite being the first choice keeper in Korea Republic&#8217;s U-23 side at the 2008 Olympic Football Tournament in Beijing, Jung only won his first cap against Chile in January 2008 when Lee Woon-Jae was suspended. He was one of the seven debutants in that match in Seoul, which was coach Huh Jung-Moo&#8217;s first game in charge. He stood between the posts for the Taeguk Warriors in seven qualifying matches for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa&#212;, conceding only three goals in the process.
