Ronaldo Aparecido Rodrigues, better known simply as Naldo, is not only considered one of the very best at his craft, but at 1.98 meters, he is also one of the tallest! His uncompromising tackling and strength in opening up the play are just two traits that would be welcomed in any team.

But the good humoured Brazilian has a lot more to offer too, with his aerial ability and powerful shot also making him a major threat from set pieces. No wonder the lofty defender was so dearly loved by the fans during his time in Bremen.

Werder Bremen
<\/STRONG>His talent in Brazil led Naldo signing with SV Werder Bremen in the summer of 2005, to replace Valérien Ismaël who left for Bayern Munich for three millions euro and shortly moving, he was given number four shirt. He made his comeback in mid August 2011, appearing for Bremen in a friendly match. Naldo would score his first goal in a year, in a 2-0 win over Stuttgart on 27 November 2011 and in the second half of the season, he scored in a 2-2 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach on 10 April 2012 and two weeks later on 21 April 2012, he scored and scored an own goal in the match, in a 2-1 loss against Bayern Munich.
