Daniel Amartey (born 21 December 1994) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for Premier League club Leicester City and the Ghana national team.

A graduate of International Allies' youth academy, Amartey played for Djurgarden and Copenhagen before joining Leicester City in 2016.

In May 2012 Amartey made his debut for the Ghana national under-20 football team in a game against Nigeria. He was also selected to play in the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup but Djurgarden wanted to keep him in Sweden since the tournament clashed with the 2013 Allsvenskan season. In January 2015, Amartey played in all the group matches for Ghana at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Black Stars finished as runners-up.<\/P>","C99F63DD4716E450533B17E1817DB7B9":"1994-12-21","38FCF119BEE99893":"Besiktas JK","2299C98649C2E7A9E5F02ED855F2A9FC":"Leicester City,FC Copenhagen,Djurgardens,Djurgardens(U19),Inter Allies","F4AE865DDB6B58D9":"Daniel Amartey","C377723034B3384C":"478","5E5612EA3A8A833D":"186cm","97C471949E1057BEF55B60029EC94B5E":"0","2B1A74B80063A830":"1","97C471949E1057BED9C5A535F14529AAF72A852D44EC1724":"1","e_index":6};
