PROLIFIC striker who began his career with Chester-le-Street Town in the Northern League.

Was snapped up by Boro as a 17-year-old in 2003 and immediately began banging in the goals, first for the U19 side and then for the Reserves.

Although eligible by age, Danny was unfortunately already cup-tied when he joined Boro or he may have added the cutting edge the side needed in the that year's FA Youth Cup.

Many observers felt his goals could have helped Boro lift the cup instead of ending up as runners-up to Manchester United.

A natural finisher, Gateshead-born Danny blasted 21 goals in just 20 appearances for Boro U19s in 2003-04.

Late that season Danny went on loan to third division Darlington, where he wasted no time getting off the mark with his first league goal.

His form was also rewarded with a one-year professional contract early in 2004 and he made his first team debut as a substitute in the 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford in October 2004.

Danny scored his first Premiership goal for Boro in the 2-2 home draw with Charlton Athletic in February 2005, although he received a kick in the face for his trouble and does not remember much about the incident!

His progress was rearded when he was handed a new, two-year Boro contract in March 2005.

He was loaned out to Derby County in November 2005 and although he impressed at Pride Park he was unable to score in 14 appearances.

Later in the season he joined Leeds United on loan but he was given precious little chance to show his talents at Elland Road before he returned to Boro.
Danny appeared in the famous 1-0 defeat at Fulham in May 2006 as one of ten North East-born players in the Premiership's youngest ever starting line-up.

Indeed he was unlucky to have a goal chalked off for handball as he threw himself at a Malcolm Christie cross shortly after half-time.","74BFD6A545ABAB8E":"Daniel Graham","1CD1A53514962B6A":"1","229187823D238BA5":"29","584B722087373EED7A432DDE0763CE35":"0","37FE64B882E92ECB":"Danny Graham","9B962DAE9CDB1287":"89kg
;
