Jerome Terence Sinclair (born 20 September 1996) is an English footballer who plays for Liverpool as a striker. He is the youngest ever player to have played for the club, making his senior debut at the age of 16 years and 6 days.

Club career

<\/STRONG>Sinclair joined Liverpool as a 14 year old from West Bromwich Albion in 2011. His debut for Liverpool's under-18 team came in the 2011-12 season. During 2012-13 pre-season he was a prolific goalscorer for the Under 18s and he subsequently made his European debut for Liverpool's under-19 team one day before he turned 16, appearing in the NextGen match against Inter Milan on 19 September 2012. His senior debut for the club came on 26 September 2012 as a substitute during in a League Cup match against West Bromwich Albion, aged 16 years and 6 days old, becoming Liverpool's youngest ever player to make an appearance for the first team.

International career

<\/STRONG>He made his England under-16 debut on 27 October 2011, and scored as England beat Wales 4-0 in the 2011 Victory Shield. He also scored twice in the 2012 Montaigu Tournament, earning England wins against host nation France, and Morocco. He is currently in the England-under 17 squad. He scored his first goal for the team on 31 August 2012, opening the scoring in a 4-1 win against Turkey. On 2 October, he was named in the 18-man squad for the 2013 UEFA European U17 Championship qualification matches in Estonia.<\/P>","e_index":5};
