HODGKISS signed pro forms in January 2006 and made an impressive full senior debut in Albion's FA Cup third-round defeat at Reading the same month. The tenacious right-back went on to make his league debut as a 63rd-minute substitute in Albion's 2-2 draw at Everton on the final day of the 2005/06 Premiership season. A consistent performer in the youth team, Hodgkiss established himself as a regular for Baggies reserves during 2005/06, even captaining the second string on occasions. Hodgkiss, who likes to get forward, was released by Wolves as a schoolboy but was signed up by Albion's then-Academy coach Craig Shakespeare. |
